I was destined to meet Laura at some point and I'm so glad it was in time for us to be a part of her wedding!  Laura was the president of Wedding Professional Connection in Charlotte, so we were honored that she chose us to capture her big day.  Laura is a planner and a do-er.  She did so much on her own and it was excecuted to perfection!  

When we met for her final timeline meeting, things were a breeze because we were already so organized that we were really able to just have fun.  I don't think I've ever just sat and silly-laughed as much as we did that day!

We were treated to a perfect day of weather for Laura's special day at Trump National Golf Club on Lake Norman! What made it even more special was the incredible friends and family both Laura and Ryan have surrounded themselves with that came together to support them on their big day. The day was a true celebration from the beginning until the very end with incredible moments of a first dance literally in the clouds and special moments shared along the shoreline of Lake Norman! When I met Sarah and John at Mr. K's in Charlotte's South End for ice cream, I knew they were perfect for each other!  John is hilarious and keeps Sarah laughing all of the time!  They are the sweetest couple and I was so excited to be a part of their wedding day!  

When they told me that it would be a zany crowd at the wedding, I was double excited!!!  And then, to top it all off, the wedding was in Romare-Bearden Park in Uptown Charlotte...that's like a triple score!!!! 

When Wedding day came along, the weather reports were not looking good.  I texted Sarah to wish her a happy wedding day and to confirm the time that we would arrive and she was nothing but excited!  The only thing in this world that mattered to her was that she was marrying John that day!  That's it, that's all!  I loved her even more at that very moment :)  I promised her that we "had her back" and regardless of the weather, we were going to capture the love, beauty and all of the shenanigans of her day. Congratulations Robyn & Paul! This couple has been amazing to work with. They approached us some time ago and asked us to consider shooting their prohibition themed wedding at The Laboratory Mill…it may very well have been our quickest YES to date. The wedding was filled with so many special touches that really made this day theirs. We were introduced to a special drink called the, “Tobacco Road” (whoa!) and did you know it’s good luck to bury a bottle of bourbon at your wedding venue exactly one month before your wedding day? So many special friends and family came together to celebrate with Robyn and Paul it was very apparent everyone else saw the same in them that we now did.
