Formal pictures following the ceremony were efficient because we had a plan, and we were able to sneak away for about 15 minutes during dinner to get beautiful couple sunset photos. "Simply put, Mary Beth and Colin are the best! Hiring Emby Taylor for our wedding photography might be one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. From day one, Mary Beth made us feel so comfortable and really explained how everything would work. When we met a couple of weeks before the wedding to go over final details, Mary Beth and I probanly spent two hours laughing at Starbucks. She has such a great sense of humor, and she just reconfirmed that we had made an amazing decision!! And then the real magic came through on our wedding day. That sense of humor was vital for our wedding, as Mary Beth and Colin were able to wrangle our crazy wedding party (read: groomsmen) to get every shot that we wanted, and a ton that we didn't even know we needed!!! We had discussed really wanting a photo-journalistic approach, and they did just that, while still getting the requisite posed shots we wanted. Images came back at right about 6 weeks, which was exactly what Mary Beth had arranged with us. We are thrilled!!!!! "Emby Taylor Photography were my wedding photographers. They are MOST talented and FUN to be around, too. They are very professional and make every effort to cover your entire day and capture every single detail. My husband is not a picture-person and really doesn't like to be photographed; however, MaryBeth was so quick to capture tons of great images without going through the re-take process, which was one of my fears. "We used Emby Taylor Photography for both our engagement and wedding photos. Mary Beth was extremely understanding of what we had in mind for our photo sessions. For the engagement session, we wanted to involve my family farm and horses in the photos. Mary Beth created gorgeous rustic photos and captured light from the evening sun setting. We felt very comfortable during our session and Mary Beth was an expert in working with our horses. Since we had such a wonderful experience with our engagement photos, we of course chose Emby Taylor Photography for our wedding. Mary Beth had spent a great deal of time in preparation for the day. She had contacted my church to ensure that all details were in place. Also, she arranged for us to have photos taken at The Gem Theater in Kannapolis, NC. They allowed us to have one of a kind photos taken inside the theater and they placed our names and wedding date on the marquee outside. She ensured that the meaning and importance of our ceremony was captured as well as us having breath taking photos taken at the Gem Theater and outdoors in downtown Kannapolis.
